Keeping university salaries competitive

Over the last few years, increases in university salaries have kept pace with other industries, but previous high increases for CSIRO staff and recent landmark pay increases for teachers mean we cannot afford to be complacent. A 27% salary increase is needed to keep salaries in line with other sectors and to ensure we stay internationally competitive.
